Archbishop Tartaglia sends his support for Rosary on the Coast
April 20, 2018
Catholics in the Archdiocese of Glasgow have been encouraged to pray the Rosary by Archbishop Tartaglia as part of a unique day of prayer round the coast.
"I am delighted to see the initiative of praying the rosary round the coast spring up from the grass roots of the Church. It shows the depth of faith of our lay people and the strength of their devotion to Our Lady..
"Praying for 'life, faith and peace' all those taking part will be doing something very practical and valuable to support these values which are so vulnerable these days in an aggressively secular and hedonistic culture. That culture often fails to acknowledge the value of human life at all stages, denigrates the witness of faith in public life and puts the great prize of peace at stakes for selfish motives."
